Jiangsu Cultural industry Overseas Talent Fair Conference – Rome, March 11th 2016



The Jiangsu Cultural Industry Overseas - Talent Fair and Project Conference took place on march the 11th at the Grand Hotel Plaza in Rome: it was the only Italian occurrence included in the European tour for eight of the main Chinese enterprises of the Jiangsu Province, considerably interested in establishing new international partnerships and in identifying talented high-level professionals. The Jiangsu Province, the second richest of China, is located in the central area of the eastern coast, in the heart of the Yangtze delta and it is particularly active in the cultural field.

The event was coordinated by Zhong Art International; it was directly promoted by the following organizations of the Jiangsu province: Organization Department of CPC Jiangsu Committee, Publicity Department of CPC Jiangsu Committee, State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Jiangsu Provincial Government, Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Provincial Government.

It was attended by important institutional representatives from the Jiangsu Province, by the Counsellors of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Italy Xu Xiaofeng for Economy & Trade, and Zhang Jianda for Culture; the Italian Cultural Ministry MiBACT represented by Ms. Rosanna Binacchi from the General Direction for the Enhancement of Cultural Heritage.


The Talent Fair Conference was attended by Presidents and Chief Executive Officers of the following Jiangsu Province enterprises and institutions, mostly belonging to the Chinese Government, interested in investing in new projects and in establishing partnerships with Italy: Jiangsu Guoxin, Jiangsu SOHO Holdings, Jiangsu Coast Development Group, Jiangsu Cultural Investment Group, Jiangsu Grain Group, Jiangsu Sports Industry Group, Nanjing University of the Arts and Jiangsu College of Information Technology.

During the morning session they introduced their companies to the Italian audience, and each of them could hold private meetings in comfortable designated areas to share information and compare experiences with companies of the same field, while the afternoon was at their disposal to interview potential applicants and collect CVs.

The interest for “culture” was developed in an all-round discussion, including each expression of excellence and competence for which Italy stands out in the world: from Design to Architecture, from Movies to radio and television productions, from Art to Music and performance.
