In may 2017 Beijing TV, one of the main Chinese channels, shot an extensive documentary on Italian Art of all time in Rome, Florence, Palermo, Venice and Milan, with the coordination and cooperation on site of Zhong Art International. The TV crew worked in Italy for two weeks, with the participation of three very popular presenters in China: Ms. Xu Chunni of CCTV, Gang Qiang anchor-man at CCTV, and Shi Guoliang the Art expert of Beijing TV.

The editing was carried out in China, where the documentary was broadcasted both in july and august 2017, attracting an audience of about 30 million people.

The recordings in the Italian cities were mostly achieved inside the main Museums and in artistic locations: in Florence at the Uffizi and the Accademia Galleries and at the Fine Arts Academy; in Rome at the Vatican Museums; in Venice at the Biennale d’Arte. The videos included interviews with Directors and Art experts, explaining the peculiarities of each site and collection to the Chinese audience.

Outdoor views of the most relevant sights completed the presentation, along with general information on Italian culture and local gastronomic traditions.

The documentary was included within a special project on Europe, the only program on Art of the Chinese television, called “I love painting”: of all five episodes, three focused on Italy, one on France and one on United Kingdom.
